Elizabeth Olvera
My name is Elizabeth Olvera. Since 2014, I have been associated with CALDA in various capacities, including serving as a board member, as membership chair, and as the Legislative committee co-chair to advance the profession forward. Prior to serving on CALDA’s board, I was the president of the San Francisco Paralegal Association.
My legal career began when I received a paralegal certificate from City College of San Francisco in 2003. I worked for over 12 years at a Civil litigation law firm as a paralegal. After that, I worked at the District Attorney’s office. Since 2014, I have been running a successful legal document preparation & Immigration consultant business in the San Francisco Bay Area, to help the public gain access to justice by way of my services.
As CALDA’s membership chair, I implemented the Zoom check-in and informative classes in order to connect legal professionals with other like-minded individuals. Because the education of LDAs is something I am committed to, I share my knowledge and experiences with LDAs at CALDA’s MCLE events, and have taught multiple classes at conferences.
In alignment with CALDA’s mission, I am committed to the advancement of the LDA profession, creating successful business, and providing access to justice to our communities.
*MCLE certificates will be emailed to attendees whose FIRST AND LAST NAME appear on the Zoom report, verifying attendance for a minimum acceptable time. Please allow 2 business days for receipt of your certificate.
